Our Dental Services

If you’re suffering from tooth decay, your teeth are losing integrity and functionality. This can cause great discomfort and may even result in visual blemishes in your smile. The best way to repair missing, deteriorating, or fractured parts of a tooth is through restorations such as fillings, crowns, bridges, implants, and dentures.

Getting dentures can have multiple benefits aside from replacing missing or decaying teeth — they can also prevent any remaining teeth from shifting in your mouth and causing additional pain. In addition to improving your oral health, you will also benefit from clearer speech, restored facial appearance, and a brighter, even smile.

Dental Implants

Implant dentistry is the process of integrating surgical components such as an implant, fixture or endosseous with the bone of the jaw or skull. This is often used to support a crown, bridge, or denture. If you’re suffering from tooth loss, reach out to us to see how a toprated Santa Monica dentist can help.We can assist you whether you’re in need of dental implants, dentures, crowns, or other services.

Preventative Dentistry

Many mistakenly think that dentists should only be visited when they have a cavity, gum disease, enamel wear, or some other condition. However, they couldn’t be more wrong. Preventative dentistry, the practice of keeping teeth clean, strong, and white is necessary to ensure proper oral hygiene. In fact,
many dental and health organizations recommend a twice a year schedule. This has been shown to prevent tooth decay and gum loss in patients. If you’re looking for a dentist in Santa Monica to handle your preventative dentistry needs, reach out to us now!

Dental X-Rays

Visual examinations can’t see it all. When it comes time to observe hidden dental structures such as wisdom teeth, the jaw and more, dental Xrays are the go to. There’s simply no other way to thoroughly check for cavities, bone loss, and other conditions. Dental Xrays may be done as a follow up after dental treatments, during checkups (to identify tooth decay), and at key milestones based on age, risk, and more.

Oral Cancer Screening

Oral cancer screening is the process of using tests to screen for different types of cancer. This can be performed during a routine checkup (see preventative dentistry) or on its own. The exam itself will look for abnormal cells and lesions with the goal of identifying whether abnormal tissue may develop into oral cancer.

Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening, a form of cosmetic dentistry, is all about providing you with the brightest, most radiant smile. There are many different treatments to restore your smiles appearance, and by contacting us, you can learn which whitening treatment is best for you. Teeth whitening services are one of the best ways to enhance your smile on a budget.

Are you looking to improve your teeth’s appearance? Dental veneers, also known as porcelain veneers or dental porcelain laminates, can be used to change the color, shape, size, or length of teeth. These thin, custom made shells are designed to mimic the appearance and properties of natural teeth while also resisting stains better than natural teeth. Reach out to us to discuss the best choice for your veneers.

Mouth Guards

Teeth are strong structures, but not invincible. They can be injured during sports and from teeth grinding. The best mouth guards in terms of both protection and comfort aren’t found in your local department store. Instead, it’s best to head to your local Santa Monica dentist to get a customfitted mouth protector. These are individually designed mouth guards based on an impression of your teeth.Call now to see how you can benefit by wearing a custom, protective mouth guard

Even though a good oral hygiene schedule which includes brushing and flossing can remove most food particles and plague, it isn’t always adequate. Nooks and crannies, especially at the back of teeth, may still be susceptible to tooth decay. To best protect teeth (specifically the molars and premolars), a thin, plastic coating can be painted on their surface. This forms a protective shield over the enamel of each tooth.

Orthodontics is the specific area of dentistry which deals with teeth and jaw positioning. It is often done using braces. Crooked teeth represent more than just an appearance issue. They’re often harder to keep clean and as such can be at risk of being lost early to tooth decay. They also place extra stress on your muscles and may lead to headaches, neck, and shoulder pain.

Root Canals

Root canals don’t have the best reputation, but with our spalike Santa Monica dentist office and the gentle approach of Dr. Stephanie Yeung, you’re visit will be nothing but pleasant. Root canals are a necessary procedure when repairing a badly decayed or infected tooth. If not performed, you could suffer from swelling, bone loss, drainage problems, an abscess, and more. The treatment involves removing the nerve and pulp inside of a tooth. Afterwards, the tooth is cleaned and sealed.
